Simple Plan release “Summer Paradise” music video

Everyone remembers singing along to Simple Plan’s catchy, pop-punk tunes such as “Addicted” and “Shut Up!” back in the early 2000s. And who can forget Sean Paul’s club hits such as “Temperature” and “We Be Burnin'”? These two complete opposite sides of the musical spectrum have come together in a collaborative effort for their latest single, “Summer Paradise”.

The song was originally released on the band’s latest album, “Get Your Heart On”, with Somalian-Canadian rapper K’naan. After many cryptic tweets, the band had released a new version featuring the Jamaican superstar. The video features many scenic shots of Barbados, where the video was filmed, as well as scenes of the band enjoying themselves in the sunny atmosphere. It very much mirrors Kid Rock’s “All Summer Long”, in that it has a very upbeat, yet nostalgic feel. Much like Kid Rock’s summer anthem, I expect “Summer Paradise” to become a massive hit, having a much similar lasting impression.

Simple Plan have just finished wrapping up the second leg of their “Get Your Heart On!” Tour.

The video can be viewed here.
