Neon Trees have posted their new music video for their latest single, “Everybody Talks” in promotion for their upcoming album, “Picture Show”. The band had earned their success with hits such as “Animal”, “1983” and “Your Surrender” off their debut album Habits. Their popularity exploded after being on the road with rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars on their “Into The Wild Tour”, and then continued to play shows with bands such as My Chemical Romance and 80’s new wave band, Duran Duran.
Singer Tyler Glenn’s style is a huge throwback to the punk styles of the 1980’s, and accentuates the band’s love for the classics through their music videos. Everybody Talks is no exception. The video shows the band in a 1950’s-60’s style drive in movie, watching a thriller flick entitled “Zombie Bikers from Hell”. The band’s performance scenes are shown through the movie, being the tragic heroes of the film.
The song’s hook coupled with the 50 style scenery and dancing, which goes to show we can expect another hit from Neon Trees that will have everybody moving.
You can watch the video here and purchase the single on iTunes. Neon Trees new album “Picture Show” will be available for purchase on April 17th. They will be performing two sold out shows on April 16th and 17th at New York’s Bowery Ballroom.
