Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe

Carly Rae Jepsen is one of latest singers to grab national attention lately with the first single “Call Me Maybe” from her latest album, Curiousity. The singer, from Mission, British Columbia had first gained attention after the release of her debut album, Tug Of War  featuring Marianas Trench singer Josh Ramsay on the track “Sour Candy”.

Recently, teen stars Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Carlos Pena (of Big Time Rush), and Ashley Tisdale uploaded a video of themselves dancing to the song. The video went viral, as did the track.

“Call Me Maybe” is so catchy that after just one listen, you’re singing along with the hook. It is a typical “girl next door” song from a girl with tremendous vocal talent. In a musical generation where many pop songs mesh together, it’s refreshing to have an upcoming sensation stand out above the rest.
